TLC's "Breaking Amish' wrapped up with Sunday night's finale -- well, almost. Just as soon as the finale ended, part one of the "Breaking Amish" special began.
As previously promised, the programs shed light on some of the rumors and speculations that have been swirling around the Amish and Mennonite members of the cast.
The biggest reveal of the night? Weeks after an old photo of Rebecca and Abe (with a then-unknown baby) sparked a host of theories about the young couple, Rebecca set part of the record straight: She is indeed a mom.
"I do have a daughter. She’s 19 months old," the 20-year-old revealed during the finale. "I wasn’t with my ex when I found out I was pregnant. But I did call him and tell him, and he absolutely denied that it was his. … I was glad he denied it."
But was he right to deny it? While the baby has now been confirmed, the identity of the baby's father is still a mystery. In fact, much of the speculation about the aforementioned photo centered on the theory that Rebecca's now-husband Abe could be the father, even though the pair allegedly didn't start dating until the show.
Abe remained mum when asked for more details, simply calling it "a private matter."
But it seems that subject -- as well as other controversies surrounding the cast -- will be revisited in part two of the post-season special. It airs Sunday at 10 p.m. on TLC.
