Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo, trades her pageant princess look for fun in the mud on her upcoming show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."
She’s best known as the pageant princess with a sassy catchphrase (“A dollar makes me holler, Honey Boo Boo”) and a big thirst for “go-go juice,” but in the upcoming TLC series “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” viewers will get to see another side of 6-year-old Alana.
Oh, sure, she’s still showing off her over-the-top personality (and enjoying that go-go juice), but forget the sparkling tiaras and pink pageant dresses. As the first promo reveals, Alana is more interested in having a tummy-slapping good time with family.
Other interests? Evidently the girl billed as “the toddler that took the TV world by storm” also enjoys making noises with her armpits and belly flopping into mud ponds. But don’t get the wrong idea about Alana or her family from their favorite activities.
As one of her sisters insists, “We aren’t rednecks!” When Dad disagrees, the teen adds. “We all have our teeth don’t we?!”
Find out what else Alana and the gang have going for them when “Here comes Honey Boo Boo” premieres Wednesday, Aug. 8, on TLC.
