Yep, "The O'Reilly Factor" host is still gabbing about how Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar stormed off the stagewhen he appeared on "The View" Oct. 15. O'Reilly had made a blanket statement regarding Muslim involvement in 9/11 on the program when the co-hosts decided to stand up to bigotry, as Behar later explained.
So what's left to say? The ladies of "The View" already explained their stances, both O'Reilly and Behar addressed the issue on their own shows, and Stephen Colbert made light of the situation during his "View" appearance to promote The Rally to Restore Sanity/Keep Fear Alive.
Apparently, plenty. O'Reilly has taped an appearance for "The Rachael Ray Show" set to air Thursday, and Media Bistro has posted some of the dialog. Of course, Ray asked him about the headline-making incident. "When they walked out, I was going to myself, 'This is great,' because I knew I’d get five segments on the 'Factor.' And I knew I could just take that and I could get three or four shows out of this," he told Ray.
O'Reilly also pointed out that the whole situation was ultimately a good one because "it opens up the discussion."
