With her unceremonious exit from “American Idol” behind her, songwriter-producer Kara DioGuardi will soon return to judge yet another televised talent show.
Bravo’s upcoming “Going Platinum” will feature a dozen amateur songwriters as they battle it out for a chance at publishing contracts and a $100,000 prize under the gaze of head judge DioGuardi.
“Hit songs are the backbone of the music industry, and as a publisher, nothing excites me more than finding new songwriting talent," DioGuardi said in a press release quoted on People.com. "I am happy to be a part of a show that helps up and coming songwriters pursue their dreams, while giving the public a look into the creative process."
Joining DioGuardi will be host and fellow judge Jewel.
