Expect loads of eye rolls from veteran “Dancing With the Stars” judge and hater-of-all-things-remotely-modern Len Goodman, as the ballroom gets ready for Rock Week.
Just what music the celebrities will be rocking to during Monday night’s performance show remains a mystery, but the moves are already known. For Rick Fox, Bristol Palin, Kyle Massey and current leaderboard topper Brandy, the tango will be the dance du jour. Meanwhile Audrina Patridge, Kurt Warner and fan favorite Jennifer Grey will paso doble the night away.
But the real treat this week isn’t expected to be the over-the-top theme costumes or the fancy footwork in the spotlight dances. That’s because once the stars get their regular routines out of the way, they’ll break out their show-stopping steps in "Dancing's" premiere rock-n-roll marathon. It’s a jive contest that goes on and on until only one couple remains — otherwise known as Palin’s ballroom nightmare.
After all, the 20-year-old’s last jive attempt left her proclaiming her dislike for the dance and left viewers laughing.
