Maci Bookout, pictured with her son, Bentley, is one of the four young women MTV's "Teen Mom" follows as the show chronicles the challenges of being a teen parent.
If you love MTV's docuseries "Teen Mom," the network may have a treat for you: Sources told NYPost.com that a spin-off of the series that follows four young, unwed mothers facing the challenges of parenting, is on its way.
According to the Post, the new show has already selected its cast (rumored to be some of the girls who have appeared on "16 and Pregnant," the show that later delivered "Teen Mom") and has done some location shooting. A name and premiere date were not given.
The hit show "Teen Mom" stars Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood. Though these young moms have landed on plenty of magazine covers the last few months, Portwood may not be enjoying the attention as much. After a Sept. 28 episode showed her beating ex-fiance Gary Shirley, police in Anderson, Ind., have launched an investigation into possible domestic violence.
Season three has reportedly started filming, and the third season of "16 and Pregnant" premieres Oct. 26.
