After last week's drama explosion during Tribal Council, this week was sure to look tame. But it wasn't quite smooth sailing, thanks once again to La Flor tribe member NaOnka.
At the start of the show, the younger group looked happy to be rid of Shannon and seemed more united, but NaOnka wasn't having it, calling the act "faker than faux fur." "Everybody acting like they all cool with each other. 'Oh, we're one big happy family!' No, we're NOT," she insisted.
Well, maybe it was just her.
*** Spoiler alert! ***
After the La Flor tribe won the immunity and reward challenge, NaOnka and Kelly B carried the prize -- a basket full of spices, sauces and fruits -- back to camp. But both women saw the hidden immunity idol clue sitting under the fruit. The second they set foot in camp, NaOnka knocked Kelly over and ran off with the clue. "That's a lifeline," NaOnka told the cameras. "I'll push you so hard your leg'll fall off!"
If you thought that was bad, wait until next week. "Survivor" teased that "Hurricane NaOnka" was about to touch down in Nicaragua. Woooo!
But back to the game, and over at the Espada tribe, the adults calmly and rationally discussed who to send home. Would it be Dan and his physical issues? (He woke up groaning about getting only two hours of sleep, then floundered during the challenge.) Or would it be Holly, who ruined a pair of $1,600 shoes last week? Maybe even celebrity Jimmy Johnson, who didn't pull Tyrone from the challenge soon enough?
During Tribal Council, Espada seemed split. Some thought Jimmy J's leadership was lacking, while others thought he was a great morale boost. But host Jeff Probst's questioning may have swung the votes. When asked whether anyone felt like they were one of the weaker players, only the coach admitted that he was not among the strongest. And with that poor strategic move, Jimmy Johnson was voted out.
